You are wrong: Humans may able to make nice and workable scientific models about this world but we humans are not able to understand the higher meaning and sense of it. Science cannot answer any religious questions.

What "religious questions" are you referring to exactly?

Your question is already answered in the context of my comment. What definition of religion do you use ? I would prefer the one of F. Schleiermacher (see Wiki). One should not mix the term with church or faith.

Ah, sorry. I somehow missed that when I first read it. However I can't really even comprehend your answer really. Maybe it's just because I'm slow, but I think it's because of the fact that in apologetics and theology, sometimes it just seems that theologians and apologists say things that don't even mean anything at all. Why does there need to be a "higher meaning"? Can you provide evidence of such a "higher meaning"? And "sense of it"? Sense of what?

Good points ! But I am not an apologists at all. However the scientific probalitiy that this universe is running around without any goals is really very low. These goals are called "higher" because there is no evidence that we human monkeys will ever find them out. Your attempt to replace this lack of human capacity by promoting "science" seems to be very naive and outdated in my humble opinion :-)
