sincerely apologize for making inappropriate comments on this forum. Unfortunately my head was stuck too far up bin Laden's ass and toxic fumes were playing tricks with my feeble mind. The fact that brother Adam (Gadahn) was molesting me from behind didn't help much either. Please disregard all my previous (and possibly future) remarks. If they look like they were made by an idiot, it is because I am at war with my other self and I my meds don't work most of the time. Sincerely, budavol.

I don't disagree with the last part of your statement. I do find the practice, in a word, odd. However, I wouldn't give it much thought beyond that. I don't go along with Rhodes's melodrama on it. I wouldn't even bring it up here, but for the fact you were trying to use it to discredit Rhodes, saying it wasn't true at all, when, technically at least, it was.

You're right, I do need to correct myself on that. Good call. What I mean by, "technically correct" is, while Bolton DOES have these photos of Bush's hands engaged in Presidential actions, it is for the purpose of decorating in a whimsical theme, based on his consideration of himself and his staff as "the President's 'hands'." Which might not be stuffily ordinary, but certainly doesn't fit the spooky, borderline-psychotic theme Rhodes is trying to convey, by a long shot. Do you disagree?

"TECHNICALLY correct??" How about EXACTLY correct? If you want to get technical, then you owe a correction in incorrectly naming the Chief of Staff "John Bolton," as in the UN Ambassador.

Ah, so that makes it SO much better, huh? God deliver us from the Pentagon's war games.

You are correct that it was conventional explosives. But 700 tons of them?? WTF?? The confusion is that the Pentagon was looking for a "substitute" to a nuclear warhead. Prove that Rhodes "intentionally misled" anyone. She is not above correcting herself, as she has done in the past.

Nevermind. I found the article you're referring to. (I had to follow 3 links to get to it's source.) And, I'll conced that Rhodes is TECHNICALLY correct on this one. Bolton, it seems, has decorated his offices with a series of photographs , cropped to mainly show Bush's hands, during important moments, like signing treaties and holding a Port Authority officer's badge on 9/11.
