Description: please read!! people keep on asking for the "bloopers " so i will now be posting, most of the time , the out takes of the video that you see. Some times a 1 min video can take 1 hr!, yet a ten min vid can take ten min!---------------------------------------------------------- On all sl1200's you have the phono / rca wired into the actual turntable. If you are finding that one or two of the phono cables are not working 9/10 it's because the phono plug is loose and the wire has been puled in side the outer plastic. Follow this step by step video for a temporary solution to getting them fixed. |

dezibeldani ::: Favorites To be more precise than what I wrote first: My fear is that one could get the idea doing this fix works for low voltage phono/line cables but also for high voltage power cables. This conclusion is wrong. Repairing power cables needs a licenced electrician. 07-11-01 22:37:29 __________________________________________________

dezibeldani ::: Favorites Thanks for the vid, but I've to mention: This is only acceptable for low voltage (<50V) and low amp (<1A) cabling. Don't do that with power cables (110V or 230V) - would be criminal! Sorry for my swinglish (swiss english). 07-10-26 20:40:38 __________________________________________________

syntse ::: Favorites Wouldn't it be good to modify the Technics so that it has the RCA female connectors in it so all you need is to replace RCA-RCA wire. Little bit of drilling for the connectors and then attach the wires inside the TT and there ya go? 07-10-26 04:54:52 __________________________________________________
DJPWN ::: Favorites Never pull on your cables, always pull at the plug. 07-10-25 20:06:08 __________________________________________________
