Fringe111 ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 16:22:11 Right so here's the question. My daughter CAN ve fixed, But because of all the restrictions she'll probably end up in the system, welfare. Hoe does that help. She can still be a productive member of society. She can be helped. Where is the dignity for her and how does that help our country? I thought people hated welfare but the system is forcing her into it. That's just nuts __________________________________________________
angie1122 ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 16:25:03 Nanciesweb, that was terrible what happened to your father, I'm so sorry. But, this is a double edged sword because with NO healthcare you receive absolutely no medical treatment (unless you are in an emergency or life threatening situation in an emergency room which you do end up owing every penny for)! __________________________________________________
Fringe111 ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 16:52:20 Things have got to change, every response I got, even from friends I know who are against health care saw this for what it was, so maybe by telling an actual story became real for them. I would urge anyone who has this type of horror story to poat it. Thae response was phenomonal __________________________________________________
thequestionmarkofGod ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 17:34:54 ABSOLUTELY. If people out there don't support healthcare there is a problem with their sense of humanity, NO human should be forced to suffer in such fashion due to lack of funds or coverage. Doctors are sworn to do no harm and yet they harm your daughter daily because of their failure to treat her. I am truly sorry. __________________________________________________
GalacticAtom ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 17:41:35 So millions of people should be deprived of a *first* opinion unless the small minority who want it can also have a second opinion?? I'm sorry about your grandfather, but in general I'd say that is a weird set of priorities. In the UK there is no need to cross borders in order to pay for faster or alternative treatment. If you have the money and want to pay for private care, or take out private medical insurance, you're free to do so, without affecting your right to use NHS services as well. __________________________________________________
TheWoodcreekFaction ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 19:36:18 I agree we do need universal health care. __________________________________________________

Fringe111 ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 19:59:43 It had to be, it's all true and I wanted to put a human face on this. Thank you so much for watching __________________________________________________
Fringe111 ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 19:59:56 I love you __________________________________________________
Fringe111 ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 20:01:23 Are you talking to me or Rhonda? __________________________________________________
Fringe111 ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 20:03:50 Oh thank you, but it's really not the doctors fault. It's all the new restrictions that are being put on them, do you know that a doctor is only allowed to have a patient in the exam room for 11 minutes????? That doesn't come from the doctors that comes from the insurance companies. It's very scary __________________________________________________
angie1122 ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 20:16:33 GalacticAtom, that's how I hope the US sets it up here. I constantly hear people from the UK say that they are so glad they are not on the US because of our crazy healthcare system here. They would never trade their NHS for our backwards system here! __________________________________________________
thequestionmarkofGod ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 20:21:30 Doctors should be the ones to make these regulations not greedy insurance companies. The government should at least take responsibility to regulate insurance companies for the best interests of the patient. Our Canadian universal health is essentially a government run insurance. We pay premiums monthly and pay portions of our drug costs as determined by income. It is not simply a free or socialist program in any way. __________________________________________________
TheWoodcreekFaction ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 20:24:50 Well thank you. we love you too. __________________________________________________
wabphd ::: Favorites 2007-11-20 07:35:46 Yep, how true and how inhumane it is. Yanno she CAN be fixed, She can go onto a productibe life, however if at least the pre-existing law is not taken down, she'll end up in the system, welfare. This is the same program that people dispise so much. So she'll then be a drain on society intstead of living a healthy productibe life. I would then blame this government for letting that happen __________________________________________________ |
